Evans Keeps Daughter's Memory Alive with Foundation & Community Outreach

Darnesha Evans has a passion for those affected by cancer having lost her 24-year-old daughter, Kennedy Parker, in 2020. Evans serves as the executive director and co-founder of the Project Kennedy Foundation, a not-for-profit organization created by her late daughter in 2019.

Darnesha's full-time position is serving as the community outreach coordinator for The Cancer Support Center, 2028 Elm Road in Homewood, established in 1992 with a second facility in Mokena.
